MS “Stadt Kiel”

“A ship is safe in harbor, but that’s not what ships are for.”

― William G.T. Shedd

On 05/26/1934 the launching of the motor ship “Kiel” in the Friedrich Krupp Germania Werft Kiel took place. After moving years and a major overhaul or a reconstruction, the MS “Stadt Kiel” has indeed made history. Since 1994, the ship is considered a technical monument and was added to the memorial role of Schleswig-Holstein.

December 2015 in Kiel / Germany.
